Knowsley Academy’s Daniel Bowie won the WBC International Challenge Championship belt at the Smash Muaythai Series Nine event at Watford Colosseum.
Bowie, one of eight Knowsley Academy fighters at the event, overcame Adrien Vaerwyk of Ladjal Thai Boxing with a second round knockout to take the title.
The fighter had the better of Vaerwyk throughout and in the second round made his supremacy show, knocking his opponent down to win the fight.
