Wingate and Finchley were involved in a six-goal thriller at Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday night, coming away with a point in a 3-3 draw.

Remarkably, the game was goalless at the break, but the second period more than made up for the half-time stalemate.

David Knight opened the scoring for the Blues in the 51st minute, staying on his feet following a foul by Jordan Hibbert, before dispatching coolly.

Dulwich levelled when Xavier Vidal lobbed Blues goalkeeper Jack Metcalfe just four minutes later. Ibrahim Mansaray then put the home side into the lead with a powerful effort.

Ten minutes from time, Knight levelled from close range following Karl Oliyide’s centre. Dulwich re-took the lead four minutes after being pegged back; Vidal again the scorer.

However, with four minutes remaining, Danny Nielsen’s side snatched a share of the spoils when Ola Sogbanmu headed home from a Wingate free-kick.

Three days earlier, Niko Muir’s late show earned Wingate all three points with a last-gasp strike in a 3-2 win at Billericay Town.

Richard Halle put Billericay ahead before the prolific Knight equalised from the penalty spot seven minutes later.

Tommy Tejan-Sie then put the Blues ahead after half an hour and it looked to be the winner before Glenn Poole’s 78th minute equaliser.

In the second minute of injury time, though, Muir secured the points with a neat finish.

Edgware Town were knocked out of the Spartan South Midlands Challenge Trophy first round on Tuesday night, losing 3-1 at home to Kings Langley.

On Saturday, Edgware lost 3-0 at Bedford, leaving them 16th in the League One table.
