Barnet will extend the loan deal of forward Sam Hoskins by a further month, Martin Allen has revealed.
The 21-year-old striker, who is on loan from League 1 side Yeovil Town, initially joined the Bees on a one-month loan deal.
And after starting this afternoon’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round stalemate at Chelmsford City, Allen confirmed the striker would extend his stay at The Hive.
“Yes, he’s staying for another month,” said the Bees head coach when asked after the goalless draw in Essex.
Hoskins joined the Bees from the Glovers on September 19 and scored with his first touch for the club during the 5-0 win over Altrincham the following day. The Dorchester-born forward has made six further starts and netted the winner against Eastleigh.
A graduate of Southampton’s academy, Hoskins had not scored since February 2013 – whilst on loan at Stevenage, prior to his loan switch to Barnet.
