Barnet went nine points clear at the top of the Conference with a 1-1 draw at Woking on Saturday after results elsewhere played out in their favour.
Former Leyton Orient defender Mike Cestor scored at both ends, handing the Bees an early advantage before equalising for the Cards in the second period.
Martin Allen's side pushed for a winner after being pegged back, but were unable to score the goal which would have seen their lead swell to 11 points.
Defeat for Grismby Town and a draw between Gateshead and Torquay United means Barnet now boast a nine-point lead over the second-placed Mariners.
