Barnet re-opened their nine-point lead at the Conference summit by beating Torquay United 2-1 on Saturday, despite finishing with nine men.
The Bees went ahead when Mauro Vilhete opened his account for the season before Bondz N'Gala was dismissed for bringing down a Torquay player as the last man.
But the numbers were levelled when Aaron Downes was sent off for an off-the-ball tussle with John Akinde. The powerful frontman then tucked away the resulting penalty to put Barnet 2-0 up.
Torquay got one back in injury time when Courtney Richards lashed over Graham Stack, but despite losing Jon Nurse to a knee injury with no substitutions remaining, the Bees held on for a big three points.
