Barnet returned to the Conference summit with a 2-1 win over Eastleigh on Saturday, putting Martin Allen's side in the driving seat for promotion eight games remaining.
Curtis Weston's deflected volley put The Bees ahead in the first half before the perseverence of Elliott Johnson allowed John Akinde to rifle home a second.
Former Bee Ben Strevens converted a penalty with 11 minutes remaining following a foul by Sam Muggleton.
But resilience from the visitors, coupled with an excellent goalkeeping display from Graham Stack, saw Barnet take all three points.
