Anthony Joshua’s rearranged fight with American Kevin Johnson will take place on May 30 at The 02 on a night when two other British boxers will challenge for world titles.

The London 2012 Olympic champion was originally due to meet the former world title challenger on January 31 but had to pull out of the bout after aggravating a back injury.

The Heavyweight, who represented Finchley Boxing Club as an amateur, has won all ten of his professional bouts to date and is due to return to action on Newcastle on April 4 before taking on ‘Kingpin’ Johnson.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn said: “Kevin is a big step for Anthony Joshua and signifies his first real challenge in the pro ranks, he brings personality and attitude as well as plenty of ring craft - I'm buzzing for this show already and fans can expect plenty of other major announcements for the card.”

The show will also see Kevin Mitchell challenge Venzuelan three-weight world champion Jorge Linares for his WBC Lightweight crown, while Lee Selby will bid to win the IBF World Featherweight belt off Evgeny Gradovich.
