Hendon's play-off opponents are still to be determined after Enfield Town announced they would appeal the guilty verdict returned by the Football Association in their ineligible player case.

The Greens had been set to host the Towners but Bradley Quinton's side were deducted three points after being found guilty of fielding an ineligible player, Aryan Tajbakhsh, in two matches.

Enfield will appeal the FA's decision on Friday as they seek to have the deduction overturned. However, in the mean time, Hendon do not know whether they will face Enfield or Metropolitan Police.

If they are successful in their appeal against the FA's verdict, Enfield could appeal the Isthmian League's points deduction. Isthmian League rules state the season must be completed by May 31.

Hendon face Tooting & Mitcham United in the London Senior Cup final on Thursday at Metropolitan Police (kick-off 7.45pm).

Gary McCann has twice won the London Senior Cup during his time at Earlsmead, with the last wincoming against Kingstonian in 2012.

Edgware Town lost out on penalties to Enfield Town Under-21s in the final of the Middlesex Premier Cup on Wednesday.

A brace from Richard Morton was not enough for the Wares, who eventually lost out 4-3 on spot kicks to miss out on silverware in their first season back.
