Andy Yiadom is absent from the teamsheet for Barnet’s trip to Bristol Rovers this afternoon whilst Aaron McLean is handed his debut from the start after signing on Wednesday.

Versatile right-sider Yiadom was recently subject of a bid from an unnamed League One club, believed to be Barnsley, described by Martin Allen as “derogatory” and “derisory”.

The Tykes had seen two bids turned down earlier in the summer with the second understood to be worth £250,000.

However, Yiadom had also been holdidng his groin towards the end of Tuesday's 2-0 win over Northampton Town at The Hive and his absence could therefore be enforced.

Mauro Vilhete begins on the right-hand flank with Luke Gambin again on the left.

Experienced striker McLean, who joined on a short-term deal earlier this week, is handed his first start since linking up with the Bees. He parnters John Akinde up front whilst Michael Gash drops to the bench.
