There was a Barnet reunion at Boreham Wood on Saturday as Tranmere Rovers loanee Ben Tomlinson met Mauro Vilhete in a stalemate in the National League.
Tomlinson played the full 90 minutes for Rovers at Meadow Park but could not find a way through the Wood defence which boasted former Barnet players David Stephens and Joe Devera.
Vilhete also started for Wood but was withdrawn after 82 minutes. Other ex-Barnet players in the Wood side included Charlie MacDonland and Conor Clifford.
There was a winning start in the Isthmian Premier Division for Wesley Fonguck as Hendon beat Burgess Hill Town 1-0.
The midfielder came on with 12 minutes remaining as Kezie Ibe's goal had seperated the two sides.
In the FA Trophy third qualifying round, Harry Taylor couldn't prevent Hampton & Richmond Borough's exit at the hands of Maidstone United.
The Stones won 1-0 thanks to Jay May's 90th minute effort. They included former Bee Adam Birchall up front whilst Jamal Lowe and Dean Sinclair started for the Beavers.
Billericay Town drew 1-1 with Tonbridge Angels in the Isthmian Premier Division. Attacking midfielder Shane Cojocarel was an unused substitute.
Centre-back Joe Gater scored an own goal as Cheshunt drew 3-3 with Wroxham in Isthmian Division One North.
A Jason Hallett hat-trick should have been enough for the Ambers but Michael Sommerfield, Gater and Nathan Stone replied for the visitors.
In Southern League Division One Central, centre-back Charlie Kennedy played the full 90 minutes as Northwood got back to winning ways, 1-0 at Arlesey Town.
