Barnet Copthall's Chloe Hackett achieved the highest score of the day at the Irish Open Diving Championships to continue a fine start to the season for the club.

The 10-year-old finished with the highest scores of day two for her dives in the Skills D event and finished sixth overall.

Another Barnet Copthall member, Martin Donnelly, 16, clinched third in the Age Group 1m event, competing against Denmark.

Head coach Rhys Gormley said of the club's successful start to the new season: “What a great start to the season for all sections of the club, outstanding results all round. The year ahead looks very promising.”
