Wingate & Finchley are just three points off the summit of the Isthmian Premier Division after a 3-1 win against Harrow Borough on Saturday.
Simon Lane's side had to come from behind after David Taylor poked the ball home for the visitors, capitalising on Wingate's failure to clear their lines from a corner.
But Billy Healey pulled the Blues level five minutes before half time when he latched onto Lee Barney's lay-off.
Seven minutes into the second half it was advantage Wingate as Alfie Bartram tucked under Harrow keeper Conor Hudnott.
Healey then added a second to take the game away from Harrow, tapping in after Barney had been denied initially by Hudnott.
The Blues host Billericay Town on Saturday before Cockfosters visit in the London Senior Cup on Tuesday.
