Barnet have made four players available for free transfer this summer the club has confirmed.

Tom Champion, Ben Tomlinson, Shaun Batt and Mauro Vilhete have all been told they can leave the club during the next transfer window.

Champion has made 30 appearances for the Bees this season, but head coach, Martin Allen, revealed in a club statement that the midfielder is eager to get more game time.

He has captained the club this season, but Allen feels he needs to move the club on and no longer sees the 29-year-old as part of his plans.

Tomlinson has spent much of his season out on loan and has failed to make an impact on the Barnet first team.

The same can be said for 29-year-old Batt who Allen says he feels needs a club which can provide him with a regular starting spot.

It is, perhaps, with the heaviest heart that Barnet fans will see 22-year-old Vilhete leave the club.

The winger scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Gateshead which secured the Bees’ return to League Two last season.
