Barnet golfing star Andrew Johnston has kept up his impressive recent form after making the cut at the PGA Championship in New Jersey.

With a level par of 70 scored on Thursday, he put himself three below the cut with a one-under round, including four birdies, to end the day tied in 34th.

There have been plenty of high-profile casualties from the Championship, including 2014 winner Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Darren Clarke, but "Beef" has kept up with the pack to enter Saturday's round eight off the lead.

Johnston will tee off at just after 5pm UK time for his third round, alongside fellow Englishman Andy Sullivan.
