Barnet trio James Pearson, Shaun Batt and Michael Gash will all leave the club in the summer, it has been confirmed.

Each of the players is out of contract at The Hive and have been informed they will not have their current deals renewed.

Pearson, son of former Leicester boss Nigel, signed for the club last year after he was sacked by the Foxes following his involvement in a scandal during a pre-season tour in Thailand.

He featured 15 times that season, but has not made a single appearance in the league since the start of 2016/17.

Gash scored nine times in 20 starts for the Bees last season, but again has seen little first-team action this campaign - albeit largely down to struggles with injury.

Batt has not always proved the most popular striker at The Hive but scored the winning goal against Hartlepool United in October in his only strike this season - before he likewise was injured.
