Bees set sights on women's FA Cup final

A Hendon PE teacher will be hoping to help Barnet Ladies to the final of the women's FA Cup this weekend.

Midfielder Claire Thomas, of St Mary's Church of England High School, scored one of the goals in Sunday's 3-2 quarter-final victory over top side Notts Forest.

Holly Sandow got the other two goals.

Now the Bees, who play their home games at Hanwell, take on Everton at Southport in the semi-final this Sunday. It is the furthest the Bees have ever reached in the competition.
