Saracens coach Paul Gustard will be competing in his fourth marathon in as many weeks.
Over the past month the defence and forwards coach has run in the Northampton Marathon on April 8, Brighton on April 15, London on Sunday and this weekend will be running in the Milton Keynes Marathon all in aid of the Hospice of St Francis.
The players and coaches of Saracens have teamed up with the hospice and pledged to raise enough money to provide three full-time specialist nurses for the hospice after full-back Chris Wyles’ mother Jessica was cared for by the hospice last year.
Speaking after the London Marathon, Gustard said: “I am absolutely shattered. That’s three in two weeks now and I now have to get myself fully recovered for Milton Keynes next Sunday. St Francis is a small Hospice and a small charity and any money that we can raise for them will be huge benefit”.
