Barnet’s planned pre-season clash against League One champions Charlton Athletic has been called off due to police advice.
The Addicks were due to travel to Underhill on Saturday July 28 but due to policing complications, caused by the London 2012 Olympic Games, the match has been cancelled.
A statement on the Barnet official website read: "We would like to inform supporters that, owing to limited resources due to the upcoming London 2012 Olympic Games, the pre-season friendly against Charlton Athletic has been cancelled.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause fans that were planning to attend on that day.”
