Rochdale v Barnet - Preview

Barnet travel to Rochdale tomorrow looking to collect their first victory of the season and move off the bottom of the League Two table.

The fixture starts a difficult month which sees the Bees on the road on three other occasions and at Underhill only twice.

Robson stated any game, whether you are home or away, is tough and believes the Bees must work on their own performances rather than focusing entirely on their opponents.

“Rochdale will be a good side, they have got some decent players in this division for sure and an experienced manager in John (Coleman) for sure.

“More importantly we need to look at our team and put right the things that weren’t right against York City,” the Bees boss explained.

“We will take stock of the York game and look at the match again, again and again. Ultimately we want to be further up the league, the club has been in the lower regions for a low time and we don’t want that this year.

“We want to try and improve it and that is what we are going to do. That is the aim and that is the target.

“We won’t stop trying until we get a satisfactory result in terms of where we want to be.”

The last time the Bees faced Rochdale was in the 2009/2010 season and a late Albert Jarrett goal secured victory for Barnet.

However, the Bees haven’t won at Spotland since 2007 when goals from Barry Cogan and Dean Sinclair were enough to claimed the three points.
