Hendon endured another defeat as they lost 43-6 to Bank of England

Hendon suffered another defeat as they lost 43-6 to Bank of England but an improved performance left room for optimism.

Bank took an early lead within the first five minutes as they ran the ball down the right-hand side to score the first try of the game.

Three more tries followed leaving Hendon trailing 22-0 but a Hendon penalty helped reduce the deficit before the break.

Another penalty early in the second half brought the score to 22-6 but Bank rolled through the gears as the game went on and scored another three tries to put the game out of sight.

This Saturday Hendon entertain fellow league strugglers Harlequin Amateurs.
