Barnet could be without this season’s stand-out performer Ricky Holmes for tonight’s League Two clash against Northampton Town.
The Bees go into the clash still searching for their first victory of the campaign and will be looking for a much improved performance following a 4-1 home defeat against Plymouth Argyle last time out.
Holmes suffered an ankle knock against the Pilgrims and is a doubt for this evening’s contest while Dutch international striker
Collins John is ruled out with a thigh injury. Also absentees for the side will be Curtis Weston (thigh), Ishmail Kamara (shoulder), Steve Kabba (knee) and Freddie Warren (ankle).
The Cobblers currently sit 12th in League Two having taken 16 points from their opening 12 matches.
The Cobblers have only claimed one win on the road this season but did defeat the Bees on their last visit to Underhill.
Aidy Boothroyd suffered a blow this week with the news defender David Artell is set to be out for 12 weeks with an Achilles tendon injury. Luke Guttridge, John Johnson and Ben Harding are also set to miss out for Northampton.
