The future of Edgware Town Football Club remains in serious doubt.
The club have resigned from Ryman League Division One North, as well as all Middlesex and FA Cup competitions.
Because of financial problems, the Wares have been unable to confirm that they have a ground secured for the 2008/9 season. It means the White Lion ground may have seen its final competitive game.
However, the club will not be dissolved and, should funding, or a ground, be secured in the near future, the Wares will be able to continue under the name of Edgware Town FC.
Steve Newing and Del Deanus's troops enjoyed great success on the pitch this season, despite the off-the-field problems, Edgware just missing out on a place in the Ryman League Division One North play-offs.
