Upgraded grass tennis courts at Oakleigh Park

Oakleigh Park Lawn Tennis and Squash Club have spent more than £100,000 on upgrading three tennis courts.

The club have replaced earlier version of synthetic grass, with the very latest surface and has installed new floodlighting to make the courts as good as any in North London and South Hertfordshire.

To celebrate the opening of the new courts, Oakleigh are holding a fun open day on Sunday July 1 between 11am and 3pm.

Both existing players and those interested in taking up the game are invited to view the courts and try them out.

Some coaching will also be available for both adults and juniors and fun games will be organised to appeal to all ages.

In addition a "fast serve" competition will be held to enable players to test their serving prowess. The club also has four Squash courts and again both existing players and those interested in taking up Squash or Racketball will be able to find out what the club has to offer in respect of these sports.
