Saracens coach Alex Sanderson wants the Men in Black to put right last year's disappointment in the LV= Cup by winning the competition this year.
Sarries cruised to a 41-8 victory over Newcastle Falcons on Sunday to seal their place at the top of Pool One where they will stay if they beat Northampton Saints in the final group fixture this weekend.
That would mean a home semi-final for Saracens and Sanderson says the team are determined to go one better than last season's defeat to Sale in the last four.
Sanderson said: "After last season's disappointment, we want to win the LV=Cup.
"It is always tough up there (at Northampton) and we were embarrassed there last time.
"We have to secure a home semi-final and we will be sending a slightly stronger squad next week but the core of the players will remain the same."
Sarries secured the bonus-point win over Newcastle thanks to second-half tries from Jackson Wray (two), Ben Ransom and Tom Jubb.
