Saracens' Billy Vunipola was named the Premiership's discovery of the season at last night's end-of-season awards dinner.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed an excellent season both club and country, helping Saracens to the Premiership semi-finals and a first-ever Heineken Cup final, whilst earning his first five caps for England.

Vunipola claimed the gong at the Premiership's end-of-season awards dinner at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane last night, with director rugby Mark McCall also recognised for another superb season at the helm at Allianz Park.

Jacques Burger was beaten to the Premiership player of the season award by Mike Brown of Harlequins.
