England handed Kent spinner James Tredwell a debut in the second Test against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, with opener Michael Carberry the man to make way.
Tredwell's inclusion meant England went in with a five-man bowling attack, forcing an alteration in the batting order.
Jonathan Trott replaced Carberry as Alastair Cook's partner at the top of the order, with Kevin Pietersen moving up to number three for the first time.
England captain Cook, who led his side to a 181-run victory in the first Test in Chittagong, lost the toss and was asked to field by Shakib Al Hasan.
