THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (VARIOUS ROADS, WATFORD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2019 THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (HIGH STREET, WATFORD) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING AND WAITING EXCEPT TAXIS) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, in order to improve road safety, prevent obstruction to the free flow of traffic and improve parking facilities for Taxis propose to make the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The general effect of the first Order will be to introduce new No waiting at any time restrictions along sections of Capel Road, Carlton Court, Grandfield Avenue, Lower Paddock Road, Avenue Terrace, Harris Road, Gorle Close, Hill Farm Avenue, High Road, Sheepcot Lane, Berry Avenue, Newlands Walk, Trevellance Way, Haweswater Drive, The Brow, Louvain Way, Newhouse Crescent, Albanwood, Sheepcot Lane, Rhodes Way, Harvest End, Hare Crescent, Radlett Road and St Albans Road.
The effect of the second traffic Order will be to improve parking facilities for taxis by re-designating the use of the parking space outside 75 High Street, Watford. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be inspected during normal office hours at the Customer Service Centre of Watford Borough Council, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX Monday to Friday during normal office hours from 12th July 2019, Alternatively, they can be viewed on the Council’s website at www.watford.gov.uk/ askparking.

Electronic objections and representations can be submitted by email to TID@watford. gov.uk. The deadline for the receipt of objections is 5:30 pm on 5th August 2019.
