COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AT THE GATEWAY SITE, WATFORD BUSINESS PARK, WATFORD
Notice Is hereby given that Watford Borough Council has made the Watford Borough Council (The Gateway Site, Watford Business Park) Compulsory Purchase Order 2019 under Sections 226(1 )(a) and 226(5) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for confirmation. If confirmed, the order will authorise Watford Borough Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below, part of which is purchased on behalf of Three Rivers District Council, for the purpose of facilitating development of the order land as a multi-unit scheme totalling 8,240m2 of modern industrial space with ancillary first floor office space and associated parking and servicing thereby achieving the promotion and/or improvement of the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the area.
A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours as detailed below.

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, c/o National Planning Casework Unit, 5 St. Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2PW, before 23 September 2019 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.

3. 1481 square metres of land being commercial premises (1 Faraday Close, Watford), north of Faraday Close and south of Hatters Lane, Watford.

4. 1742 square metres of land being commercial premises (2 Faraday Close, Watford), west of Faraday Close and south of Hatters Lane, Watford.

5. 209 square metres of land being trees, shrubbery and hardstanding, west of Faraday Close and south of Hatters Lane, Watford.

6. 274 square metres of land being trees and shrubbery, west of Faraday Close and south of Hatters Lane, Watford.

7. 90 square metres of land being trees, shrubbery and hardstanding forming part of commercial premises (Chira House, 3 Faraday Close, Watford), west of Faraday Close and south of Hatters Lane, Watford.
