The Barnet (Charged-for Parking Places) (Amendment No.65) Order 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet has made on 12th September 2019 the above-mentioned Order under Sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Schedule 9tothe Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. As part of the Council's commitment to reducing air pollution by encouraging increased use of lower emission vehicles, the Orders will implement new resident permit categories which are closely aligned to the DVLA categories used to calculate vehicle tax rates. The Order will also introduce an emission-based charging structure to business permits, and will introduce a'Contractor Permit' for use by contractors undertaking works at properties across the Borough and where their location of work is regularly away from their main business address. The general effect of the Order will be to:

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday 16th September 2019 and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays and Public Holidays Excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: Reception, Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
