THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASCOT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2019
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using thatlength of Ascot Road, Watford from apoint 100 metres south east of its junction with the Whippendell Road roundabout south eastwards for adistance of approximately 40 metres ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Ascot Road.
The Order is needed because railway bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8December 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
Acopy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). 1. thatlength of LangleyburyLane, LangleyburyLane from its junction with FirTree Hill north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with A41 Watford Road, adistance of approximately 2400 metres.

An alternative route will be via FirTree Hill,Redhall Lane, Chandlers Lane, Toms Hill, Bucks Hill, The Common, The Street, Chapel Croft, LangleyRoad, Chipperfield Road, Vicarage Lane, A4251 (High Street/Watford Road) and A41 Watford Road.

3. thatlength of A411 Hempstead Road,Watfordfrom its junction with Courtlands Drive north westwards to its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/M25 (junction 19) roundabout, adistance of approximately 1050 metres.

An alternative route will be via A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 St Albans Road and A41 North Western Avenue
or via A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road and A411 Hempstead Road.
4. thatlengthof Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with LangleyburyLane south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Bucks Hill, adistance of approximately 1700 metres.

An alternative route will be via LangleyburyLane, FirTree Hill, Redhall Lane, Chandlers Lane, Toms Hilland Bucks Hill.
5. thatlength of FirTree Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with LangleyburyLane south westwards to its junction with Redhall Lane, a distance of approximately 1130 metres.

An alternative route will be via Langleybury Lane, A41 Watford Road, A4251 (Watford Road/High Street), Vicarage Lane, Chipperfield Road, Langley Road, Chapel Croft, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane and Redhall Lane.
The Order is needed because activities to support event management are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given thatHertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycleway situated on the west side of A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford from apoint 12 metres north east of apoint in line with the south western boundaryofthe 'Watford Colosseum' north eastwards for adistance of approximately 65 metres ("the Cycleway"). Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycleway.

NOTICE is given thatHertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

NOTICE is given thatHertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all public service vehicles and pedal cycles from using the bus lane situated on the east side of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Garston Park Parade south westwards to its junction with Garston Lane ("the Bus/ Cycle Lane"), adistance of approximately 78 metres. An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road.
The definition of a'public service vehicle' has the same meaning as in Section 1ofthe Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981.
