The Harrow (Free Parking Places)(Disabled Persons) (Amendment No. 8) Traffic Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 22nd June 2020 the London Borough of Harrow made the above mentioned order under Sections 6, 7, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the order is to amend The Harrow (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) Traffic Order 2017 so as to introduce Free Parking Places for Disabled Persons lawfully displaying Disabled Persons' Badges, so that-

(a) in the spaces listed in the streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice only motor vehicles displaying a disabled persons badge may wait;

(b) the spaces listed in Schedule 2 were deleted;

(c) the space listed in Schedule 3 was relocated.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply in respect of anything done at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a traffic warden or with the permission of a civil enforcement officer or in certain circumstances which can be provided on request.

4. The order, which will come into operation on 29* June 2020 and other documents giving more detailed particulars are available for inspection on the Harrow Council website

, until 6 weeks from the date on which the order was made.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

Abbey Close
the south side, outside Nos. 19-21 Abbey Close, with a length of 6.00 metres. Bouverie Road
the south side, outside No. 43 Bouverie Road, with a length of 5.50 metres. Church Lane, Wealdstone
the west side, outside No. 6 Church Lane, with a length of 5.50 metres. Cornwall Road, Harrow
the north-west side, outside Nos. 22 and 24 Cornwall Road, with a length of 6.00 metres.
Lucas Avenue
the north side, outside No. 35 Lucas Avenue, with a length of 5.50 metres. Northolt Road
the south-east side, outside No. 375 Northolt road, with a length of 6.00 metres
Risingholme Road
the north-west side, outside No. 22 Risingholme Road, with a length of 6.00 metres.
Vaughan Road
the north side, outside No. 52 Vaughan Road, with a length of 5.50 metres. White House Drive
the north side, outside Nos. 13/14 and 15/16 White House Drive, with a length of 6.00 metres.
Schedule 2 - Removed Disabled Person's Parking Spaces
Drury Road
the west side, outside No. 58 Drury Road, with a length of 6.00 metres. Hutton Lane
the west side, outside Nos. 51 and 53 Hutton Lane, with a length of 5.50 metres.
Marsh Lane
the service road on the east side, between a point 4.50 metres north of a point opposite the southern flank wall of Half Acre and a point 5.50 metres north of that point.
Somerset Road
the south-east side, outside No. 2 Somerset Road, with a length of 5.50 metres.
Whittington Way
the south-west side, outside No. 76/78 and 80/82 Whittington Way, with a length of 5.50 metres.
Schedule 3 - Alterations to existing disabled person's parking spaces The Meadow Way
the south-east side, outside Nos. 62 and 64 The Meadow Way, with a length of 5.50 metres.
