TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH WATFORD BOROUGH 47


NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Watford Borough 47, from Lady’s Close to Wiggenhall Road, for an approximate distance of 120 metres.


Alternative route: via Lady’s Close, Vicarage Road and Wiggenhall Road The purpose of the Order is to enable footbridge works to take place.


The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 3rd August 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 2 weeks to complete.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRIDLEWAY ABBOTS LANGLEY 45


NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders and cyclists from using that length of Bridleway Abbots Langley 45, from Langleybury Lane westwards, for an approximate distance of 180 metres.


Alternative route: No suitable alternative


The purpose of the Order is to enable cable works to take place. The section of Bridleway will be closed on or after 7th August 2020 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 1 week to complete. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOWESTOFT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lowestoft Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 140m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Leavesden Road or via Leavesden Road, Cecil Street and A412 St Albans Road.


The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing red light camera system is proposed to be executed near the Road.


If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ELM GROVE, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Elm Grove, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 37m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Dell Road, The Harebreaks and Elm Grove.


The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN RIVERSIDE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Riverside Road, Watford from its junction with Silk Mill Road north eastwards to its junction with Waterman Close (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 84m, except for access.


An alternative route will be via Silk Mill Road, A4125 Eastbury Road, A4178 Deacons Hill, Blackwell Drive and Riverside Road.


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 17 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN HEMINGFORD ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hemingford Road, Watford from its junction with Greenbank Road south eastwards, north eastwards and northwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.


There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WATFORD PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.001 AND THE FOOTPATH FRONTING NOS.258-304 HIGH ROAD, LEAVESDEN) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following length of public footpath (“the Public Footpath”) and footpath (“the Footpath”):-


1. Watford Public Footpath No.001 from its junction with High Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 67m.


An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south and west sides of Hare Crescent.


2. the footpath fronting Nos.258-304 High Road, Leavesden from its southernmost junction with Hare Crescent north eastwards for a distance of approximately 191m.


An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north, west and south sides of Hare Crescent.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath and Footpath.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 August 2020 for a period of up to 6 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN NORTHWOOD, SOUTH OXHEY AND WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-


1. that length of Valency Close, Northwood from its junction with Batchworth Lane south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.


There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.


2. that length of Clitheroe Gardens, South Oxhey from its junction with Northwick Road north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 102m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.


3. that length of Embleton Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Hayling Road south eastwards to its junction with Gosforth Lane, a distance of approximately 310m .


An alternative route will be via Hayling Road and Gosforth Lane.


4. that length of Phillipers, Watford from its junction with York Way north eastwards to its junction with The Gossamers, a distance of approximately 702m.


An alternative route will be via York Way and The Gossamers.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GROVE MILL LANE, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grove Mill Lane, Watford from a point 41m south west of its junction with A411 Hempstead Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 40m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via Grove Mill Lane, A411 Hempstead Road, A41 (Hempstead Road/Watford Road), Langleybury Lane and Grove Mill Lane.


The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grove Mill Lane, Grove Mill from its junction with Fir Tree Hill south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1547m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via Langleybury Lane, A41 (Watford Road/Hempstead Road), A411 Hempstead Road and Grove Mill Lane.


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 31 July 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN LITTLE BUSHEY LANE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Little Bushey Lane, Bushey from its junction with A411 Elstree Road north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Geddes Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 1708m, except for access. An alternative route will be via A411 (Elstree Road/Sparrows Herne/High Street/ London Road/Chalk Hill), A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 Chalk Hill, B642 Aldenham Road and Little Bushey Lane or via Little Bushey Lane, B642 Aldenham Road and A411 (Chalk Hill/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne/ Elstree Road).


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
