HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN OSBORNE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Osborne Road, Watford from its junction with Sandringham Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Sandown Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 126m, except for access.


An alternative route will be via Sandringham Road, Balmoral Road and Sandown Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 31 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOWESTOFT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lowestoft Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 140m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and Leavesden Road or via Leavesden Road, Cecil Street and A412 St Albans Road.


The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing red light camera system is proposed to be executed near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months.


However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ELM GROVE, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Elm Grove, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 37m (“the Road”), except for access.


An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Dell Road, The Harebreaks and Elm Grove.


The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN RIVERSIDE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020


NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Riverside Road, Watford from its junction with Silk Mill Road north eastwards to its junction with Waterman Close (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 84m, except for access.


An alternative route will be via Silk Mill Road, A4125 Eastbury Road, A4178 Deacons Hill, Blackwell Drive and Riverside Road.


ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.


The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.


The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 August 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
