TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - TRAFFIC SCHEME 1 - VARIOUS ROADS
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Management order under the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991. This is to facilitate traffic scheme works.

1. The order may be cited as The Harrow (Traffic Scheme 1) Temporary Traffic Order 2021, and shall be operational between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 1291 April 2021 and shall remain in effect until 30th July 2021 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that all of the work should be complete by 30'" April 2021.

2. Vehicles shall be prohibited from entering or exiting the following extents;

1. Westfield Drive (whole road)

2. Westfield Gardens (whole road)

3. Roxborough Park (between its junctions with Lowlands Road and Roxborough Avenue)

4. Roxborough Park (between its junction with Roxborough Avenue and its southern extremity)

5. Roxborough Avenue (whole road)

6. Pickwick Place (whole road)

7. Merrion Avenue (between its junctions with Du Cros Drive and Charlbury Avenue)

8. Merrion Avenue (between its junctions with Charlbury Avenue and Sandymount Avenue)

9. Merrion Avenue (between its junctions with London Road, Stanmore and Sandymount Avenue)

10. Charlbury Avenue (between its junctions with Merrion Avenue and Craigwell Drive)

11. Charlbury Avenue (between Its junctions with Cralgwell Drive and Sandymount Avenue)

12. Craigwell Drive (between its junction with Charlbury Avenue and its southern extremity)

13. Craigwell Drive (between its junctions with Charlbury Avenue and Sandymount Avenue)

14. Sandymount Avenue (between its junctions with Du Cros Drive and Chalbury Avenue)

15. Sandymount Avenue (between its junctions with Charlbury Avenue and Craigweil Drive)

16. Sandymount Avenue (between its junctions with Craigweil Drive and Merrion Avenue)

17. Enderley Road (between its junctions with Weald Lane and Farmstead Road)

18. Sefton Avenue (between its junction with Stanhope Avenue and its eastern junction with Weald Lane)

19. Sefton Avenue (between its junction with Stanhope Avenue and its western junction with Weald Lane)

20. Stanhope Avenue (between its junctions with Long Elmes and Sefton Avenue)

21. Stanhope Avenue (between its junctions with Weald Lane and Sefton Avenue)

22. Weald Lane, its eastern arm (between its junctions with High Road and Sefton Avenue)

23. Weald Lane, its eastern arm (between its junctions with Sefton Avenue and Enderley Avenue)

24. Weald Lane, its western arm (between Stanhope Road and Sefton Avenue)

3. Nothing in paragraph 2 above shall apply to:-

(a) any vehicles being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) any person who causes any vehicle to proceed in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed pursuant to Section 66 or Section 67 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984;

(d) any vehicles used in connection with the traffic scheme works;

(e) any vehicles needing to gain access to properties in the closed extents as far as is practicably possible.

4. The provisions of the order will not have effect unless all the signs in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 are displayed, removed or covered, or unless at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.
