THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2019 (AMENDMENT) (NO. 3) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for the Hertfordshire County Council, has made the above named Order under Section 32,35 and 35A and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991 ("the 1991 Act"), in accordance with the provisions of Part 6 of The Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers.
The Borough of Watford (Off-street parking places) order 2019 will therefore be amended to have the following effect:-
Oxhey Activity Park Car Park
Amend Schedule 2 (titled; Pay & Display Parking Places) to add the Oxhey Activity Park Car Park comprising of 4 'long stay' 'disabled persons' bays numbered 1 to 4 and 31 standard 'long stay' bays numbered 5 to 35; all as indicated on Plan TEMP - Car Parking Bay Numbers (04.02.21) with the following restrictions;
1) Position in which vehicle should wait; Wholly within a parking bay
2) Classes of vehicle; (i) Motor cars within the provisions of s.136(2)(a) of the 1984 Act; (ii) Motor cycles with sidecars; (iii) Invalid carriages; disabled persons vehicles
3) Days of Operation: All days
4) Operational hours; 7am-7pm
5) Maximum Stay: 4 hours
Up to 1 hour - Free
1 - 2 hours - £2.00
2 - 3 hours - £4.00
3 - 4 hours - £6.00
The Borough of Watford (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2019 (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2020 will be revoked.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 19th April 2021. Copies of the Order may be inspected on the Council's website at www.watford.gov.uk/askparking. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any of the provisions contained in them, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
