THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20** THE BARNET (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45,46,49,51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the Free Parking Places Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions at the following locations below:

1. Introduce new 'at any time' waiting restrictions around the junctions of Hammers Lane and Wise Lane NW7; Abbotts Road and Cardinal Close HA8; Goldsmith Avenue and Kingsbury Road NW9; The Woodlands and Shamrock Way N14; Brent Place and Barnet Lane EN5; Maryrose Way and Oakleigh Park North N20; Ossulton Way and Brim Hill N2; Athenaeum Road and Oakleigh Park North N20.

2. Introduce lengths of 'at any time' waiting restrictions outside the following locations below:
a) Regents Park Road N3 - Outside Opal Court
b) Great North Way NW4 - outside Sycamore Court, Lime Court and Conifer Court
c) Potters Road EN5 - Outside No.3 to No. 13 Potters Road and also outside No.10 to No.20 Potters Road

3. Introduce a length of waiting restriction operating between the hours of 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday between No.37 Oakleigh Park North and No.55 Oakleigh Park North N20.

In order to improve the parking opportunity for residents and visitors the general effect of the Orders would be extend the existing shared use resident permit holder and payment parking bay situated outside No.191 to No.195 High Street, Barnet operating 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday by approximately 4 metres in a southwesterly direction. As a result of these measures being introduced a length of existing waiting restrictions operating 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday would be removed. A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 28 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing

within 28 days of the date of this Notice.
