TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH CHORLEYWOOD 2

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Chorleywood 2, heading south from junction with North Hill to insection with Chorleywood 34, for an approximate distance of 630m.
Alternative route: no suitable alternative.
The purpose of the Order is to enable re-surfacing works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 05 February 2022 for up to 5 weeks, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A405 NORTH ORBITAL ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A405 North Orbital Road, Watford from its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/High Road roundabout north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 2285m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue and A412 St Albans Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE SUBWAY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE
OF BRIDGE ROAD AND HUNTON BRIDGE HILL, HUNTON BRIDGE) ORDER 2022

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all subway users from using the subway situated on the west side of Bridge Road and Hunton Bridge Hill, Hunton Bridge from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.27 Bridge Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m ("the Subway"). There is no alternative route available for subway users when the works are being carried out.
The Order is needed because subway improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Subway.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Subway.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NASCOT STREET, WATFORD) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Nascot Street, Watford from a point 23m south west of its junction with Langley Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 29m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Nascot Street, Langley Road, Alexandra Road, Malden Road and Nascot Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 21 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD, BUSHEY AND WOODSIDE)
ORDER 2022

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-
1. the A41 northbound slip road leading onto the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, Watford from its junction with the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 (junction 5) roundabout north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way, a distance of approximately 420m.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way).
2. the northbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Bushey/A41 Otterspool Way, Watford from a point 636 m north west of its junction with the B462 Hartspring Way roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 548m.
An alternative route will be via A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 St Albans Road and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way).
3. the A41 southbound slip road leading onto the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, Watford from its junction with the southbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue Colne Way south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 (junction 5) roundabout, a distance of approximately 426m. An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Exchange Road and A4008 Stephenson Way.
4. the southbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside/A41 (North Western Avenue Colne Way/Otterspool Way), Watford from its junction with the A41 The Dome roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 2098m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Exchange Road and A4008 Stephenson Way.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS
ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2022

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from
using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Alexandra Road, Watford from its junction with Langley Road south westwards to its junction with The Avenue, a distance of approximately 347m.
An alternative route will be via Langley Road, Stratford Road and The Avenue.
2. that length of Beechpark Way, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue south eastwards, clockwise, north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Devereux Drive, Watford from its junction with Langley Way north westwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Langley Way and Harford Drive.
4. that length of Grandfield Avenue, Watford from its junction with Langley Road south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because highway drainage works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ARUNDEL DRIVE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Arundel Drive, Borehamwood from its junction with Norfolk Gardens south eastwards for a distance of approximately 95m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Norfolk Gardens, Kenilworth Drive, Balmoral Drive and Arundel Drive.
The Order is needed because utility works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CLAY LANE, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Clay Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Howard Close south eastwards for a distance of approximately 44m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Clay Lane, A411 Elstree Road, Montacute Road, Magnaville Road and Clay Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NEW ROAD, SARRATT) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of New Road, Sarratt from its junction with Church Lane south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 250m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Church Lane, Dimmocks Lane, Sarratt Road, Solesbridge Lane, A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chenies Road), North Hill and New Road. The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing water main is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Old Shire Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Heronsgate Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 44m ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 7 February 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS AND PUBLIC FOOTPATHS IN WATFORD,
LANGLEYBURY, CHANDLERS CROSS, SARRATT AND ABBOTS LANGLEY DURING THE
'WATFORD HALF MARATHON') ORDER 2022

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads and public footpaths will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access:-
a) that length of Parkside Drive, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Drive north westwards to its junction with Langley Way, a distance of approximately 1100m.
b) that length of Cassiobury Drive, Watford from its junction with Parkside Drive north westwards and northwards for its entire length.
c) the Cassiobury Drive/Langley Way roundabout, Watford from its southernmost junction with Cassiobury Drive clockwise for its entire length.
d) that length of Langley Way, Watford from its junction with Parkside Drive north eastwards to its junction with Bellmount Wood Avenue, a distance of approximately 220 m.
e) that length of Bellmount Wood Avenue, Watford from its junction with Langley Way north westwards, northwards and north eastwards to its junction with Cassiobury Drive, a distance of approximately 440m.
f) that length of Glen Way, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue southwards for its entire length.
g) that length of Stanbury Avenue, Watford from its junction with Glen Way north westwards to its junction with Beechpark Way, a distance of approximately 250m.
h) that length of Beechpark Way, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue north westwards to its junction with Grove Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 145m.
i) that length of Grove Mill Lane, Watford from its junction with Beechpark Way south westwards, westwards and northwards to its junction with Fir Tree Hill, a distance of approximately 1900m.
j) that length of Langleybury Lane, Langleybury from its junction with Fir Tree Hill north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Old House Lane, a distance of approximately 1130m.
k) that length of Fir Tree Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Langleybury Lane south westwards, southwards and south westwards to its junction with Redhall Lane, a distance of approximately 1192m.
l) that length of Redhall Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Fir Tree Hill westwards to its junction with Chandlers Lane, a distance of approximately 55m.
m) that length of Chandlers Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Redhall Lane north westwards to its junction with Toms Hill, a distance of approximately 850m.
n) that length of Toms Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Chandlers Lane north westwards to its junction with Bucks Hill, a distance of approximately 330m.
o) that length of Deadmans Ash Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Bottom Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 280m.
p) that length of Bottom Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Deadmans Ash Lane north westwards and westwards to its easternmost junction with Commonwood, a distance of approximately 310m.
q) that length of Commonwood, Sarratt from its easternmost junction with Bottom Lane northwards to its junction with Quickmoor Lane, a distance of approximately 720m.
r) that length of Quickmoor Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Commonwood eastwards to its junction with Bucks Hill, a distance of approximately 484m.
s) that length of Bucks Hill, Sarratt from its junction with Quickmoor Lane southwards and south eastwards to its junction with Old House Lane, a distance of approximately 1380m.
t) that length of Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Bucks Hill north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with Langleybury Lane, a distance of approximately
1700m.

2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of Public Footpath:-
a) that length of Watford Borough Footpath No.72 from its junction with Cassiobury Drive northwards to its junction with Glen Way, a distance of approximately 166m.
b) that length of Sarratt Public Footpath No.13 from its junction with the eastern access road leading to 'Newell Farm' north westwards, westwards and north westwards to its junction with Deadmans Ash Lane, a distance of approximately 1200m.
There are no alternative routes available for vehicles or pedestrians for the duration of the event. However vehicular and pedestrian access to properties in these roads will be maintained whenever possible.
The lengths of roads and Public Footpaths will be closed on Sunday 6 February 2022, when signs are in place.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the 'Watford Half Marathon'.

ORDER 2022
ROAD HUMPS NOTICE (TOM LAKE WAY AND BRIDLINGTON ROAD,
SOUTH OXHEY) 2022

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a one-way restriction in Tom Lake Way, South Oxhey as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. It is also proposed under Sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install a raised speed table at the junction of Bridlington Road and Tom Lake Way, South Oxhey as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

SCHEDULE 1: One Way Traffic - effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan - Tom Lake Way - one way traffic (north eastbound) between Bridlington Road and Prestwick Road.
SCHEDULE 2: Raised speed table - effecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the accompanying plan - Bridlington Road - from a point 5 metres south east of a point in line with the projected south east kerbline of Tom Lake Way north westwards for approximately 15 metres to a point 4 metres north west of a point in line with the projected north west kerbline of Tom Lake Way and extending north eastwards into Tom Lake Way for 8 metres.
The above raised speed table will be constructed at a height of approximately 75mm above the existing carriageway with on/off gradients of approximately 1:20.
