THE BARNET (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49,51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
In order to provide a parking facility to disabled blue badge holders who meet qualifying criteria, the general effect of the above Orders would be to provide designated disabled parking bays for use by motorists in their vehicles who display both a valid disabled blue badge and a dedicated disabled permit which would be applicable to each bay, outside the following locations:
20 Capel Close N20, 114b Sydney Road N10, 1 Baronsmere Road N2 (by converting a length of permit holder only parking bay), 7/8 Grebe, Broadhead Strand NW9 (replacing a section of permit parking area), 21 Dallas Road NW4 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 21 Wentworth Avenue N3 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), 23 Bow Lane N12, 23 The Potteries, Barnet Lane EN5, 25 Storksmead Road HA8 (by converting a general disabled permit holder only parking bay), 22 Egerton Gardens NW4 (by converting a length of resident permit holders only parking bay), Grove Lodge, Regents Park Road N3, and Mowbray House, Oak Lane N2. A dedicated disabled parking bay would also be provided on Greenfield Gardens NW2, adjacent to No. 122 The Vale.
The above Orders would also remove redundant disabled parking bays outside 9 St John's Road NW11 (to be converted to resident permit holders only Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm), 13 Naylor Road N20 (to be converted to resident permit holders only Monday to Sunday 2pm to 3pm), 20 Clifton Road N3, 22 Montagu Road NW4 (to be converted to resident permit holders only Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm), 62 Rosemary Avenue N3, 175 Mays Lane EN5, 238 Colindeep Lane NW9, and Regency House, Regents Park Road N3 (to be replaced with Moday to Saturday 7am to 7pm waiting restriction).
A copy of the proposed Orders, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.
