Various Roads in Barnet, Introduction Of 'At Any Time' Waiting Restrictions

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.187) ORDER 2022


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 19th May 2022 the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. In order to deter obstructive parking, and improve sightlines and safety, the general effect of the Free Order will be to introduce new lengths of new 'at any time' waiting restrictions on:

- both sides of the access road between Hendale Avenue NW4 and Greyhound Hill NW4 (Behind No.66 to No.76 Greyhound Hill and behind No.254 to No.272 Watford Way).

- both sides of Forumside, between Station Road and High Street, HA8

The general effect of the above mentioned Order will upgrade the existing Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and 1pm to 6pm on event days waiting restrictions outside No.66 Greyhound Hill NW4, to operate 'at any time' waiting restriction.
The general effect of the above mentioned Order will also upgrade a length of existing waiting restrictions operating 10am to 11am Monday to Friday outside No.43 to No.47 Edgwarebury Lane HA8, to no waiting 'At any time' restrictions. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Saturday 28th May 2022 and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale,
London NW9 4EW.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
