Hutton Grove, Notice To Make Experimental 'At Any Time' Waiting Restrictions Permanent

THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES, WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.186) ORDER 2022


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on the 19th May 2022 the above-mentioned Order "the Order" under Sections 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the free Order will be to make permanent the provisions of The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.138) (Experimental) Order 2021
The Experimental Order, which came into operation on Sunday 25th April 2021, introduced on an experimental basis, new lengths of 'at any time' waiting restrictions outside and opposite No.2a Hutton Grove N12 and No.2 Hutton Grove N12 (No.1 to No.4 Arkley Mansions) in order to deter obstructive parking and to help enable large delivery vehicles to access the Waitrose site on Hutton Grove. As a result of the proposal mentioned above being introduced lengths of existing 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions will be removed. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Friday 27th May 2022 and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
