The Barnet (Free Parking Places, loading places, waiting, loading and stopping restrictions) (amendment no. 189) order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 9th June 2022 the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order will be to remove the following measures listed below in order to accommodate the installation of a new Pedestrian Zebra Crossing on Bell Lane outside No.95 to No.99 Bell Lane NW4 with the associated zig-zag markings extending outside No. 93 to No.103 Bell Lane and also opposite No.91 to No.105 Bell Lane NW4.

1. At any time waiting restrictions outside Nos.93 to No.95 Bell Lane and opposite No.93 to No.99 Bell Lane NW4.

2. No waiting 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday restrictions outside Nos.95 to No.99 Bell Lane NW4.

In addition to the above, the Free Order will relocate the existing disabled permit holder only parking bay outside No.103 Bell Lane to outside the common boundary of No.103 to 105 Bell Lane NW4.
A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Thursday 9th June 2022 and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing

or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale,
London NW9 4EW.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
