NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY IN HERTFORDSHIRE
THE HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BUSHEY 73 AND 74) MODIFICATION ORDER 2016
The above named Order, made on 7th October 2016, was confirmed without modification by Hertfordshire County Council on 9th December 2016.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement by adding to them a footpath commencing at Primrose Gardens at TL 1395 9457 and continuing SE and N along the alleyway to Sparrows Herne at TL 1398 9458; and a footpath commencing at Sparrows Herne at TL 1395 9462 and continuing NE, NW and NE along the alleyway to Highland Drive at TL 1399 9472.
A copy of the confirmed Order may be seen free of charge at Front Reception of Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Hertford, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday to Friday and can be bought from Hertfordshire County Council at a cost of £2. A copy of the confirmed Order and Notice may also be seen at Hertsmere Borough Council, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD61WA. The Order becomes operative as from the date on which it was confirmed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or any regulation made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act within 42 days from 23rd December 2016, make application for the purpose of the
High Court.
THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HARTHALL LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY)
ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Harthall Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Primrose Hill north eastwards for a distance of approximately 100 metres ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Primrose Hill, Toms Lane, High Street, Church Hill, Bedmond
Road and Harthall Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 January 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between
the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HOLMSIDE RISE AND FERNDOWN ROAD, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. that length of Holmside Rise, South Oxhey from its junction with Hayling Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

An alternative route will be via Hayling Road, Embleton Road and Holmside Rise.
2. that length of Ferndown Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Ballater Close south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

An alternative route will be via Ferndown Road, Oxhey Drive, Muirfield Road, Maylands Road
and Ferndown Road.
The Order is needed because utility connection works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 January 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING NOS.29-87
DENHAM WAY,MAPLE CROSS) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the service road
fronting Nos.29-87 Denham Way, Maple Cross from its junction with Maple Lodge Close
southwards and south westwards to its junction with A412 Denham Way ("the Road"),
a distance of approximately 277 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Maple Lodge Close and A412 Denham Way.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 January 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
