THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2017

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access:-
a) that length of Bridlington Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Fairfield Avenue south eastwards to its junction with Oxhey Drive, a distance of approximately 190 metres.
An alternative route will be via Fairfield Avenue, B4542 Prestwick Road and Oxhey Drive.
b) that length of Oxhey Drive, South Oxhey from its junction with Bridlington Road south westwards to its junction with Henbury Way, a distance of approximately 68 metres.
An alternative route will be via Oxhey Drive, B4542 Prestwick Road and Oxhey Drive
2. To prohibit all vehicles from making a right turn manoeuvre from Hallowes Crescent into Hayling Road, South Oxhey, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via Hayling Road, B4542 (Prestwick Road/Brookdene Avenue), A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane) and Hayling Road.
The Order is needed because the reconstruction of an existing speed table and foul water sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours
of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLEWAY SITUATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF B4542 PRESTWICK ROAD, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cyclists from using the cycleway situated on the east side of B4542 Prestwick Road, South Oxhey from a point 20 metres south east of its junction with Green Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 100 metres ("the Cycleway").
Pedal cyclists wi be asked to dismount and use the adjacent footway.
The Order is needed because telecom maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycleway.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycleway.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HERKOMER ROAD, BUSHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Herkomer Road, Bushey from its junction with Bournehall Lane south eastwards to its junction with Bournehall Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 46 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Herkomer Road, Park Road, A411 High Street and Bournehall Road. The Order is needed because electrical cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B4542 LITTLE OXHEY LANE, SOUTH OXHEY)
ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, South Oxhey from a point 50 metres south west of its junction with St Georges Drive south westwards for a distance of approximately 147 metres ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, A4008 (Oxhey Lane/Pinner Road), A412 (Eastbury Road/Hampermill Lane), B4542 (Brookdene Avenue/Prestwick Road/Little Oxhey Lane). The Order is needed because railway bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HUNTON BRIDGE, ABBOTS LANGLEY, SOUTH OXHEY, CARPENDERS PARK, MILL END, RICKMANSWORTH, CHORLEYWOOD, BUSHEY AND WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Bridge Road, Hunton Bridge from its junction with A41 Watford Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 248 metres.

An alternative route will be via A41 (Watford Road/Hempstead Road), the A41 North Western Avenue/A41 Hempstead Road roundabout, A41 (Hempstead Road/Watford Road), A4251 Watford Road, Home Park Mill Link, Station Road, Gallows Hill, Lauderdale Road and Hunton Bridge Hill.
2. that length of Hamilton Road, Abbots Langley from its junction with Hunton Bridge Hill north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Lauderdale Road, a distance of approximately 414 metres.

An alternative route will be via Hunton Bridge Hill and Lauderdale Road.
3. that length of B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, South Oxhey from its junction with B4542 Prestwick Road south eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 526 metres.

An alternative route will be via B4542 (Prestwick Road/Brookdene Avenue), A4125 (Hampermill lane, Eastbury Road/Pinner Road), A4008 (Pinner Road/Oxhey Lane) and B4542 Little Oxhey Lane.
4. that length of Carpenders Avenue, Carpenders Park from its junction with Delta Gain north eastwards to its junction with A4008 Oxhey Lane, a distance of approximately 725 metres.

An alternative route will be via Delta Gain, St Georges Drive, B4542 Little Oxhey Lane and A4008 Oxhey Lane.
5. that length of Alva Way, Carpenders Park from its junction with Delta Gain north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with By The Wood, a distance of approximately

385 metres.
An alternative route will be via Penrose Avenue and By The Wood.
6. that length of Delta Gain, Carpenders Park from its junction with Alva Way south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with The Mead, a distance of approximately 353 metres.

An alternative route will be via Penrose Avenue, Carpenders Avenue, Foxleys and The Mead.
7. that length of Church Lane, Mill End/Shepherds Lane, Rickmansworth from its junction with A412 Uxbridge Road north westwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 1456 metres.

An alternative route will be via A412 Uxbridge Road, Field Way, Berry Lane and Shepherds Lane.
8. that length of Townfield, Rickmansworth from its junction with Nightingale Road south eastwards, south westwards, north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Nightingale Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with A412 Uxbridge Road north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A404 Chorleywood Road, a distance of approximately 943 metres.

An alternative route will be via A412 (Uxbridge Road/Rectory Road) and A404 Chorleywood Road.
10. that length of Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Heronsgate Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Lower Road, a distance of approximately 1027 metres.

An alternative route will be via Heronsgate Road, Stag Lane, Rendlesham Way, Furze View, Cappell Avenue, Cappell Road and Cappell Way.
11. that length of Common Road, Chorleywood from its junction with A404 Chenies Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junctions with Station Approach, a distance of approximately 1116 metres.

An alternative route will be via A404 Rickmansworth Road, Dog Kennel Lane, Berry Lane, Common Gate Road, Chorleywood Bottom and Station Approach.
12. that length of Clements Road, Chorleywood from its junction with Common Gate Road south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 92 metres.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
13. that length of Harriet Way, Bushey from its junction with Little Bushey Lane south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 137 metres.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
14. that length of Rudolph Road, Bushey from its junction with Herkomer Road south westwards to its junction with A411 High Street, a distance of approximately 291 metres.

An alternative route will be via Herkomer Road, Park Road and A411 High Street.
15. that length of Newhouse Cresent, Watford from its northernmost junction with Horseshoe Lane south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its southernmost junction with Horseshoe Lane, a distance of approximately 684 metres.

An alternative route will be via Horseshoe Lane.
16. that length of Briar Road, Watford from its junction with North Approach south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Greenwood Drive, a distance of approximately

466 metres.
An alternative route will be via North Approach and Greenwood Drive.
17. that length of Church Road, Watford from its junction with Park Road north westwards to its junction with Langley Road, a distance of approximately 701 metres.

An alternative route will be via Park Road and Langley Road.
18. that length of Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford from its junction with Gade Avenue south eastwards to its junction with Shepherds Road, a distance of approximately 556 metres.

An alternative route will be via Gade Avenue, A41 Rickmansworth Road and Shepherds Road.
19. that length of Orchard Close, Watford from its junction with The Gardens south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
20. that length of Horseshoe Lane, Watford from its junction with A405 St Albans Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 860 metres.

An alternative route will be via A405 St Albans Road, High Elms Lane, Woodside Road and Horseshoe Lane.
21. that length of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with the A412 northbound slip road leading onto the A411 The Avenue/A411 Beechen Grove roundabout north eastwards for a distance of approximately 344 metres.

An alternative northbound route will be via the A412 northbound slip road leading onto the A411 The Avenue/A411 Beechen Grove roundabout, A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue) and the A412 northbound slip road leading onto the northbound carriageway of A412 St Albans Road
An alternative southbound route will be via the A412 southbound slip road leading onto the A411 The Avenue/A411 Beechen Grove roundabout and the A412 southbound slip road leading onto the southbound carriageway of A412 St Albans Road.
22. that length of Loates Lane, Watford from its junction with Queens Road The Broadway south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Lord Street, a distance of approximately 193 metres.

An alternative route will be via Queens Road The Broadway and Lord Street. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 June 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

Hertfordshire County Council are applying for planning permission to: to Allow access to the Fullerians Rugby Club car park from Coningesby Drive for users of the park and stride facility in association with Cassiobury Infant/Nursery School and Cassiobury Junior School at Fullerians Rugby Club Car Park, Coningesby Drive, Watford, WD17 3PD. Please note this application proposes development in the Green Belt.
