THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF A411 BARNET LANE, BOREHAMWOOD AND CLYSTON ROAD,WATFORD) ORDER 2017

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 BARNET LANE, BOREHAMWOOD AND CLYSTON ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with the Furzehill Road/ Farriers Way roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 438 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 Barnet Lane, A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill North), B5378 (Allum Lane/Shenley Road), A5135 Elstree Way, A1 Barnet Bypass and A411 Barnet Lane.

2. that length of Clyston Road, Watford from a point 54 metres north east of its junction with High View north eastwards for a distance of approximately 23 metres. An alternative route will be via Clyston Road, High View, Caractacus Green, Charlock Way and Clyston Road. The Order is needed because gas connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON WOODFORD ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Woodford Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road north westwards to its junction with Clarendon Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 270 metres. An alternative route will be via Orphanage Road, Radlett Road, Balmoral Road, A412 St Albans Road and Station Road. ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on this length of Road, will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of Road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because tower crane installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RED ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER NO.2 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Red Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Holme Park south eastwards for a distance of approximately 41 metres (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Red Road, Theobald Street and Red Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 December 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLEWAY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cyclists from using the cycleway situated on the west side of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.125 St Albans Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 250 metres (“the Cycleway”). Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway. The Order is needed because the installation of new telecom ducts are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycleway. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 December 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycleway. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH WATFORD BOROUGH 29
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Watford Borough 29, from Hempstead Road to Sarratt FP50a, for an approximate distance of 120 metres. Alternative route: via track to the south of The Grove Pumping Station and Hempstead Road The purpose of the Order is to enable hydraulic testing works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 20th November 2017 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 2 months to complete.
