Brent Cross Town, the 180-acre new town centre project north of Cricklewood, is bringing back its Community Fund for a third year.

The fund which has increased its pot £35,000 is now open to small charities and community organisations that are focussed on delivering new ideas or existing projects that support its key themes of; Outdoors and Active, Mental and Physical Wellbeing and Community Togetherness.

Local groups and projects including grassroots initiatives and branches of national charities; schools and educational organisations; not-for-profit organisations; and social enterprises based in and around Childs Hill, Golders Green and West Hendon are all welcome to apply for a £500 - £5,000 share of the £35,000 fund.

Since the launch of the fund in 2019, it has been a great success with 18 diverse community groups being awarded a total of £55,000 funding, with wide reaching local impacts. In 2021, Brent Cross Town’s Community Fund is keen to champion initiatives that create flourishing communities and that reflect the ambition for the new town centre to be an inclusive, people-first place which strives to be healthy and sustainable.
