Andrews Property Group has claimed a raft of prestigious industry awards at the ESTAS ceremony in London in its first year of entering.

Top of the bill was the Gold Award in the hotly contested Large Lettings Agency category as recognised landlords themselves, whilst a Silver Award was claimed in the same category on the estate agency side.

The ESTAs are held in particularly high regard by the industry as the results are based purely on the results of a customer service survey completed by 36,000 sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants.

Andrews’ success didn’t stop with just the headline awards, however.  The lettings teams at Andrews in Keynsham, Tewskesbury and Barnet each picked up Bronze Awards in their distinct regions, as did the estate agency teams in Kingsbury, North West London and Longwell Green, Bristol.  In total, 35 Andrews branches across sales and lettings were shortlisted.

Group Chief Executive, David Westgate, comments: “To have so many teams within our branch network shortlisted for these prestigious awards in the first year that we’ve chosen to enter, was itself an enormous achievement.

“To then claim the top honour in the lettings category, be runners up in estate agency AND have five individual branches awarded, however, is an honour beyond what we had hoped for.

“Of course, providing our customers with honest, reliable and above all, a first-class level of service sits at the heart of everything we do, but it’s only possible with the hard work and commitment of each member of the Andrews team.  All that hard work is worthwhile when we then receive awards such as these which are directly linked to the service that we deliver.”

The awards, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday April 20th, were presided over by TV’s Phil Spencer who also commented on the value of being recognised and awarded solely because of customer feedback: “The ESTAS are special because shortlisted and winning firms are selected purely on the service that they deliver to clients. Real feedback from real customers experiencing real service. I don’t think there can be a greater honour in the industry than to receive an award based on that mantra”.
