A pub is temporarily shutting its doors due to several of its staff members being advised to self-isolate.
The Gate Pub in Arkley says a number of its part-time workers have been contacted by NHS Track and Trace and has therefore made the “difficult” decision to close.
The pub said it is taking the measure “as a precaution” and “to protect our customers and staff”.
It is due to reopen on Tuesday, July 13.
Announcing the news on its Facebook page, The Gate said: “As a precaution & due to a number of our Part Time staff members being contacted by the NHS Tract & Trace & advised to isolate, we have made the difficult decision to close The Gate.
“This is to protect our Customers & Staff. We will re-open on Tuesday July 13th. We apologise for any inconvenience caused & thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.”
