Introducing the Harrow Festival for the first time, which will see the borough throw on a spectacular party for everyone.

The festival includes the Holifest - taking part not too far from all the main activities, anyone can enjoy this rich tradition of colour and celebration.

Wear something you don't mind getting covered in all the colours of the rainbow, get your friends, grab yourself a bag of coloured powder, wait for the signal and then throw it high into the air.

For those not wanting to get so messy, there is a large family funfair - and who doesn't like a good old British fairground, with rides to suit all ages and levels of thrill seekers.

The festival will see the first ever outdoor bar in the borough, which promises to have a large selection of beers, wines, ales and summer drinks, along with the favourites.

You can't go to a festival and not have food. There will be a food arena, which will not just have barbecue food, but an array of cuisines from around the world including burgers, pizzas, curry, kebabs, wraps, crepes, ice-cream, noodles, chops, donuts and much more.

Over 30 community outlets, sports teams, charities and businesses will also be setting up market stalls around the park.

Families can visit the on-site petting zoo, where you can visit the sheep, guinea pigs, goats, rabbits, ponies, alpacas, llamas, pigs and even miniature donkeys. Children and adults can even touch and feed the animals.

If you're feeling more adventurous, then why not have a go at water zorbing - feel the rush of being able to walk on water - well that is if you can stay standing. And if you can, why not try doing tricks such as rolls, spins, flips and tumbles.

Once the day time entertainment finishes, it's time to party and there is a variety of entertainment from bands and DJs. Headlining on the main stage include The Fiction, Outbeat Band, Bad Girls Groove, Jukebox Band and DJs include Jamie Lakes and Dan Harding.
