From egg hunts, to arts and crafts activities, it’s set to be a ‘cracking’ Easter at Willows Activity Farm in St Albans.

Between Saturday, March 30, and Monday, April 22, everyone’s favourite bunny will be starring in the much-loved Peter Rabbit and Friends theatre performances, which will feature some new shows and will run daily throughout the three-week period.

Also new for this year’s Easter programme is a series of Sublime Science shows which will be full of fun and fascinating experiments and will be performed from Friday, April 6, to Monday, April 22.

Children can also put their navigation skills to the test with the annual Easter Egg Hunt while those with a creative streak can let their imaginations run wild at the arts and crafts workshops.

Animal lovers will have the chance to pet and feed the cutest new spring arrivals on the farm and learn all about the fluffy baby chicks and bunnies this Easter. They will even get an insight into the workings of the farm with daily cow milking and lamb bottle-feeding demonstrations.

Special memories will be created as families can meet and greet the beloved Peter Rabbit characters which will of course include Peter Rabbit himself as well as Cotton-Tail, Benjamin Bunny, Mr Tod and Squirrel Nutkin - while those craving adventure can take on the Super-Secret Squirrel Nutkin Test to challenge their agility skills.

Nicola Ratcliffe, Chief Executive Officer, Willows Activity Farm said: “We are delighted to welcome guests to Willows Activity Farm this Easter for a range of ‘egg-citing’ and educational activities. This year we have a fantastic new addition to the programme with the exciting Sublime Science shows which are set to be fascinating for children of all ages. It’s always a special time of year as we welcome our adorable baby animal arrivals to the farm, and we can’t wait for families from near and far to come along and join in the fun.”
