Just eight months ago singer-songwriter Lauren Lucille was packing up her life in Australia to move to the chillier climes of London.
Since arriving in the UK, Lauren has set up home in Mill Hill and is now preparing to perform at this year's WOMAD festival in Wiltshire.
Her fusion of folk, country, jazz and world music has garnered her widespread praise from UK audiences and she is also booked to play at Mill Hill Jazz Club in August.
Lauren's band for WOMAD includes fellow Australian musicians as well as some new UK friends.
From an early age the young artist has been passionate about music and was inspired by her parents, in particular her jazz singer mother Sharny Russell.
Aged just ten-years-old Lauren began writing her own songs and in 2012 she released her album titled Hidden Here.
